Hi Good Day,

I want to ask what is the file name of the Teamviewer Connections.

I want to kill the process of TeamViewer connections, not the Teamviewer app.

I'm using this on a simple project I'm developing now.

  1. TeamViewer.exe (TeamViewer App It Self)
  2. "This is what I want to know" (TeamViewer App Connections)

    Hello @OngoPH

Welcome back to the TeamViewer community!

Good question - I went ahead and tested out a few connections to see if we could find the answer for you.

TeamViewer_Service.exe is the name of the process that regulates the connection. That is to say - if you were to issue a 'taskkill' command in Command Prompt and entered TeamViewer_service.exe, the TeamViewer session would terminate while the main app remains open.

Of course, we are always interested in hearing more about such projects. If you would like to share more, we are all ears!

I hope this helps, and we look forward to hearing more from you!

    Hi @JoshP

I already tested TeamViewer_Service.exe last time, but it was not working. After you said it was the TVS.EXE, I tried it again, and I discovered that my app needs to run as an administrator.

    Thanks For Your Help.
