Remote Access and Wake

Good morning!

I'm quite new to th community, I start using TeamViewer because I have a powerfull desktop pc at home that I want to access from my laptop everywhere I go.

I know about Wake-on-Lan but it seems to work only if the devices are connected to the same wifi.

Can someone give me some advices?

As far as I know, it is possible to wake up devices from devices outside your network.
