My mouse get stuck on clicking and dragging in Mac OS

Are there any controls or any specific options I can check to make the mouse work properly on Mac OS?

When I log into another computer that runs MacOS (12.5) very often the mouse get's stuck when clicking and dragging, for instance trying to move a folder from one place to another it's impossible as the folder icon gets stuck to the mouse and never let go when clicking again.

Any pointers?

Thanks

  • I am also having this issue. Have you found a solution?

  • Having the same issue on a new Mac Mini connected to a Raritan KVM. We are using TeamViewer exclusively. The only remedy is to restart the Mac Mini.

That's not gonna work for me as I might not be able to reboot the computer.

I'm hoping to get an answer from support as this is really a **bleep**

    Thanks

Anyone received support for this problem? I have similar bugs controlling an M1 imac running Monterey and it’s very annoying

Me too, still having this problem on M2. Avoid dragging and dropping while using TV or it will stick to your cursor and only a restart fixes.

I am having this issue as well. Have had this issue with multiple mac models, current model I am accessing remotely is a M1 Mac Mini running Monterrey. This issue has been happening for a couple of years it would seem. Is there ever going to be a resolution for it?

  • Is there any reason that nobody from Teamviewer is responding on this thread? Teamviewer is an expensive application. There should be a representative from the company that monitors forum posts.

This is a real issue, it's also happening on a Mac Mini here. First post on the topic was 14 months ago. Not a peep from the company? Not acceptable.

I have all of the latest software - Teamviewer is set to auto-update.

  • I am having the same issue with no resolve. I have updated teamviewer and ios. Please help this is very frustrating.
