Quick support custom module, password not accepted

We sometimes experience that our password in the custom module isn't appproved.
Then only way around is to have the customer download the teamviewer qs module and read both ID and password to us.
It usually happens on customers with the newest version of the custom module.
We have asked the customer if they are seeing the 4 stars which indicates it is our module.
Any one else having that experince?
