I connect my TeamViewer in NY to my niece's computer in NC to do general maintenance. Yesterday, I had an experience with TeamViewer that I had never had before. She has installed AOL for receipt of her emails, unlike me who uses strictly Gmail. She was telling me about a "mysterious black" area on AOL that occasionally obscures her tool bar at the top of the screen. I want to point out that it is not there all the time but only, occasionally. While I was connected with her computer, however, I could not see this "mysterious black" area on her desktop screen. How is this possible? It was my understanding that I would have an unobstructed view of her desktop to do general maintenance yet I could not see this "mysterious black" area that she was pointing out existed on her screen. I am totally baffled by this. Please help and advise. One thing I did notice was that when I was doing a Privacy Sweep using I/O Bit's Advanced System Care, I was instructed to close Microsoft Edge to complete the Privacy Sweep. Can this somehow be related to this issue?
