Operating system: Windows

We use both methods (auto-update via policy & update via patch management system using script to push msi).
Would be nice to have a policy setting to disable a shortcut being created in the public desktop folder.
Hi @wsucppsits,
Thank you for reaching out!
Can I ask you how you are updating TeamViewer? Are you updating TeamViewer manually, or have you deployed TeamViewer via script (.msi) and are updating TeamViewer via policy?
Is there any way to prevent the TeamViewer shortcut from being placed in the public desktop folder every time Host is updated? I want our public desktop folder empty unless I specifically choose to have something in there on our computers. Thanks!
Is the delay significant?
