I now no longer have remote control of my clients machines without their input

We have a corporate subscription, and up until about two days ago I could connect to any of the computers, laptops, workstations or servers that were online, without needing user input.

Something has changed in the last couple of days. If I try to connect to a computer from my Mac laptop the screen says "initialising display parameters". If I can try to connect from my Mac laptop to my Mac pro at work it sometimes says it's waiting for authorisation.

What have I done, what have I changed, or is it not me is it something that's happened on the software?

since I typed that I have updated to the latest version [15.35.7 (9189c3bdeea)] on my MacBook Pro - where I am typing this.

    Hi @SimonW42,

    Thank you for posting your question in TeamViewer Community!

    May I ask you to check the steps below:

    1) If you have signed in the TeamViewer account on the local device;

    2) on the remote side device and see if Easy Access has been granted with your TeamViewer account;

    3) Additionally, may I ask you to share more information about the message prompt from TeamViewer during your connections please.

    Waiting for your update about the connections and setting confirmation.

    Best,

    Yes I have signed into the account on my local MacBook Pro. I always run signed in on that computer. I am also signed in on my work computer on my Mac Pro.

    Yes I have easy access it on all the host computers that I would need to connect to.

    After first connection my laptop says this:

    Then if I use my phone and log onto my Mac pro the display changes to this:

    The phone won't allow me to click okay to let me in.

    This is a screenshot from my phone after I logged into my Mac Pro from my phone while trying to connect with my laptop I cannot click on show screen with my phone.

    Please feel free to contact me and ask any other questions [Information removed as Community Guidelines]

    Hi @SimonW42,

    Thank you so much for checking the settings on TeamViewer!

    May I ask some information about the connection setups please?

    At the moment,

    Mac -> Mac ✔ without any further confirmation

    iPhone -> Mac ❌ further action needed on the remote device

    Also, have you done any changes recently on TeamViewer?

    Hope to hear from you again!

  • sorry about the delay - my life is quite hectic.

    the only changes I had done was enable 2FA/MFA.

    I ended up uninstalling the program on my MBPro & reinstalling - and it if now fine.
