Hi, we are trying to connect a user from home to a PC here at work.

The PC (Home) was using a trial version but we have since purchased a licence, activated the licence and tried to connect using the ID and password that was the same one using the trial version ID.

I've added the PC to the list of licenced computers on the host PC

We have connected multiple PC's to the host device, but this one in particular wont connect or if it does its only for a few seconds then tells us we have exceeded our limits.

I thought Id just re-install TV but the ID is the same as the old one.

The Home PC ID won't change no matter what we do...Uninstall, re-install, registry deletion, etc...

any thoughts as to why?

Would a static IP address do this?

Thank you

    Hi @Cutterwolf,

Good to see you posting again! ✨

Let me help you here. First, would you mind telling me exactly which license you have purchased?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hello @Cutterwolf,

Thank you for getting back to me.

Good - you have a Remote Access license with three extra devices.

With your license, you can connect to six remote devices.

The crucial part here is registering these six remote devices within your TeamViewer interface, so the system recognizes your license when connecting to the devices. We explain how to proceed in our activation article in Step 4: Add your remote computer(s) to your TeamViewer account.

Could you please check that you have entered all devices you want to connect to as explained in the article?
