Trying to remotly acces a Samsung TAB A8, no success

My PC is a LinuxMint 21.1 trying to remotely connect to the Android tablet. BOTH have TeamViewer installed. If i connect from PC to the tablet, get connected message, but nothing happens. If i connect from the tablet to the PC, the connection works perfectly.

I need to support my mother in law's Tablet remotely, and cannot.


Cant it be done?

    I am having this same issue. I am on linux mint 21.2 and the tablet is also a Samsung galaxy tab. The user is using the quicksupport app and I am using teamviewer. I can connect to and control the tablet from another tablet using teamviewer with no problems.

    I have further tested this with trying to connect to another galaxy tab and it has the same problem.

    Has anybody been able to figure out the problem? I have tried configuring and disabling the firewall on my Linux desktop and that did not solve the issue.

    I have looked at a few other posts on this forum and don't see any resolutions... is this a dead App?
