How can I hide the tab bar at the top of the session window when not in fullscreen mode?

Since the last version or so there is a tab bar permanently at the top of the session window when not in fullscreen mode and I can't find a way to hide it. It takes up screen space and I don't even use it ever since I never have more than 1 connection at a time. Is there a way to hide it?
