32-bit vs 64-bit

My Teamviewer on both my Laptop (Win 10) and my Desktop (Win 10) are both running version 15.37.3 My Laptop is running 32-bit and my Desktop is running 64-bit. Should I change the Laptop to 64-bit? And if I do, can it be done without losing any of my contacts?
