VPN connection in China is not working
Hello,
We are facing a strange thing in a PC located in China. We can establish the remote control of the TeamViewer so we can perfectly operate this local PC, but when we are trying to establish a VPN connection the pop up window of the connection says that VPN is connected but there is no traffic going on and we cannot actually ping this local PC. Is it possible the VPN connection is blocked by Chinese firewall? If that is the case can we make some kind of a rule for this particular connection?

Welcome to the TeamViewer Community! 🚀
Yes, this sounds familiar to us, and it is actually expected that it is not working.
The reason is that the VPN locks both devices in a virtual private network, as the name says. TeamViewer can't access this private network and can, therefore, not establish a connection.
Unfortunately, there is no workaround for this we can provide you with.
Let me know if you have any questions! I'll be happy to help you further.

Hey Jean,
Sorry for the misunderstanding, when I am referring to VPN connection I mean that I use VPN addon that TeamViewer uses. I have attached a picture of a successful connection of an other PC for your reference. As you can see on this successful connection I can see traffic and also I can test the connection with the "Test ping" button. So the situation in China is that I cannot see traffic and I cannot test the connection even though the pop up window appears.
