How do I change the password

I have forgotten password and I am unable to allow someone access to my computer. I have gone through to the advanced section and changed and confirmed it there but the change is not accepted; I'm at a loss!!

    From the description you provided, I believe you're trying to change the personal password, is that right?

    Please note that if the password is too weak, it will not be accepted.

    Make sure your password is Acceptable and click OK to save the changes.
