Provide a bug tracker
All decent software needs a dedicated bug tracker. Some use their source control platform's integrated issue tracker, as I expect that the TeamViewer developers do privately, but (something like) this needs to be exposed to users. A separate one could be provided via GitHub or GitLab issues due to its versatility, especially markdown support, or Bugzilla, due to its… popularity? I wouldn't recommend Bugzilla anymore, but it's commonplace at least.
Regardless of the implementation used, forums are not bug trackers. forum.fairphone.org demonstrates that even with the best forum software available—arguably Discourse—it cannot replace a bug tracker. It's not powerful enough, else it would be one.

I just searched for this today, thinking that it was a novel idea, and located… my own post.
