Teamviewer missing from app drawer in bottom right corner of taskbar in Windows 10

I have version 15.40.8 (64-bit) installed and I noticed a couple weeks ago that no matter what I do, the teamviewer icon in the taskbar window is not there. Any time i want to open it, I have to go to the icon on the desktop. The program stays open but does not show for easy access

    Thanks. I figured I would have to reinstall it. Its about the only way to fix issues. I was more interested in why and how it happened
