Why am I being asked to confirm all connections now?

I used to be able to just enter ID and Password to connect to remote computers, but now I have to confirm it on the REMOTE computer? You know, the one I am NOT in front of.

Both are Win 10 computers

Connections are fine, no issues browsing the internet

I even created an account thinking that's what they wanted now, and I STILL can't connect to my remote laptop? Thought if I setup and granted "Easy Access' it would let me connect remotely, to an unattended PC....

I've never had an issue connecting to it before, and just did it in February when I was on vacation and needed to get some files, with NO problem.

What setting am I missing? Was there a change with an update where somebody has to be sitting in front of the other computer?

I am using Teamviewer 15 if that makes a difference

    Hello @irritated1000,

Thank you for contacting us for help!

The first setting I am able to think of to check would be Access Control permission, the finding path is showing below:

TeamViewer ➜ GearWheel (⚙) ➜ Advanced ➜ Advanced settings for connections to other computers ➜ Access Control, and see if it is on Confirm all.

Can you check and share a update with us please?

    Best,

  • Thank you for your response, I appreciate it. Yes, that's the problem, somehow it got changed to View and Show, instead of Full Access. Thank you again, I'm glad it was a simple fix.
