TeamViewer on iPad disables bluetooth headphones

I connect my Sony headphones prior to starting TeamViewer on my iPad. Once that app is started, the headphones icon disappears from the top of the iPad screen. No matter what the host PC is doing, I get sound on the iPad only through speakers. Is there a way to fix this? My TeamViewer version is 15.40.56 CL. The headphones work fine in all other apps on the iPad. IOS version is 16.4.1. The PC is running Win 10. App on the PC is VLC. On the PC sound is coming from the speakers. I want to watch video in another room on the iPad. Seems to be a TeamViewer issue.
