How do i get the old interface back?
@AndreB85 posted a solution to this in https://community.teamviewer.com/English/discussion/129409/the-new-ui-is-horrible/p1
It's HKCU/Software/Teamviewer/UIVersion
Value 2 = old design, 4 = new design

Completely agree.
Luckily you can go back to the previous one.
With clear and concise settings and options.
The new interface doesn't seem intuitive or fast or productive to me.
I found how to go back to the old interface at least. Now my help desk staff are happier.
Users can revert to the Old UI in the "Your Device settings" under "General".
Thank God I found this post.
Since the interface was updated, EVERYTHING is a problem. It is NOT an intuitive interface.
To connect with a client it has taken me a lifetime to know where to put their ID.
The groups appear repeated to me (some with a green icon and the same in gray).
I just want to see my groups with the host and be able to connect by putting an ID on the main screen without having to go through a maze to find the option.
I have been so overwhelmed with this interface that I had even considered canceling my subscription and trying other competing services.
Luckily thanks to this thread I was able to go back to the previous version, which for me is much faster and clearer when it comes to improving productivity.
I totally agree with all the previous posters.
The Team-Viewer company needs to understand that half of users who operating the program are proficient, and the other half are low tech-knowledge. The new interface doubles the work of 50% of users and excludes the other 50% from use.
Me too...
me too!!!!!!!!!
The new interface and options give us no advantage, indeed the new interface makes the use of the product clumbsey for our single use of employee end user support.
I have been unable to find a way to return to the old interface.
Can anyone direct me?
Yeah, it looks nice. I can find everything, but it is a bit buggy.
I installed 15.41.10 on a Mac for a new client to be blindsided by the horrible, unusable interface. Specifically, unlike previously where you were up and running with an ID immediately, I had to create an account, connect and then I was able to find the switch to go back to the old interface. That process is unusable for a novice hiring me as a tech to assist. Completely busted my workflow, now I have to touch the client machine and install TeamViewer prior. Absolutely terrible. Hoping they make it easier to find the ID (key to everything working) and stop requiring an account for the end-user since I'm the one paying the bill.
This is horrible. Client side options are gone. How do I set up my devices to start with windows etc? Can't get to any settings.
This is supposed to be a productivity tool! Don't make significant changes like this without giving an easy out for those who want to continue using in the way they signed up for.
This new interface is horrible!
Thanks for sharing the registry key, I didn't find any useful option to change the UI using... the UI
@cheese62 You're awesome, Thank you. Your reg hack exposes the switch to "flip to old version" which IS HIDDEN unless the reg hack is implemented so to all of those who say that yah you go to device settings, genera, **bleep** brothers - no such thing exists UNLESS the reg hack is implemented first. Thank you @cheese62
Can't seem to find the option to go back to previous version :(
Thanks for your help; the useless support didn't inform me of that solution even after I canceled our five licenses.
The new interface has a severe problem with video card drivers.
At the end of the year, I will move to another service from **Third Party Product**.
