TeamViewer on OSX becoming more and more unstable

Options

We have been using TeamViewer for some years now for remote access into our field Mac computers. I am running just less than 100 field Macs. We have a business subscription.

We are noticing over the last year a sharp increase in field visits, due to failure of TeamViewer.

The main issue is where we are unable to simply unable to connect ("Connecting ..." - then nothing). A reboot always fixes this.

Also, we have having trouble implementing TeamViewer on M1/M2 Macs. Installation looks fine but the app will not open. Even setting the three documented security/privacy settings does not resolve this.

We use Monterey or Ventura with TeamViewer current version.

Does anyone else suffer from these issues?

Indeed, we are facing persistent and frequent crashes on our Macs during TeamViewer sessions. This ongoing instability has made it increasingly challenging to rationalize the ongoing financial commitment to the software.

The cost of TeamViewer's subscription continues to rise while its stability and reliability declines. This combination of factors raises doubts about the sustainability of their current business model.

Given the circumstances, it becomes crucial to reassess the value we are receiving from TeamViewer and explore alternative remote access solutions that offer more stability and a more reasonable pricing structure.
