How to go back to the old version?

Please refer to two attached screenshots, one from my arranger's late model Mac running latest macOS, and my late model iMac running latest macOS.

It has taken us two hours to get nowhere, and we can no longer run TeamViewer sessions.

I want mine to look the same as his. How do I go back to the previous working version so we're both running the app that allows either to control the other's computer via ID and Password?
