new TeamViewer disaster

TeamViewer now requires sign in; In my opinion, this was a very dumb move unless I'm completely missing some point.
Let me get this right; a client solicits my services for malware removal, I need to sign in with an account, potentially giving active malware a chance in recording my password?
onscreen ID & PW (previous way) made most sense.
TeamViewer has ruined my license by doing this; literally spending loads of more time on just getting connected, than the time spent in fixing my clients issues.
Last thing I want to do, is sign in as an extra step.
I'm hoping someone can tell me I'm wrong and there's some special key combination that turns the application back to being useful, for the people who are paying for it.
