Did TeamViewer implement a new interface on the MacOS version?

I'm running TeamViewer version 15.41.9 (32-bit) on Windows.

TeamViewer on Windows has a new interface ("It's time for a new view"), which I've not tried yet. When I click the toggle button to attempt to switch to the "New interface," TeamViewer prompts me to install Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime, and I'm not sure I want to do that yet.

I frequently connect with a MacOS user. Did TeamViewer implement a new interface on the MacOS version of TeamViewer, even though Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime is not available on MacOS?

The reason I ask is that I want to communicate via audio (call by internet) with my acquaintance who is running TeamViewer on MacOS, and that feature seems to have been removed from TeamViewer's "old interface."
