Teamviewer over Satellite connection

Hi we are using Teamviewer over a Sat link that only has 174kbps bandwidth and a 200mb/month allowance. while teamviewer works fine although a little slow. we are seeing alot of data usage from teamviewer when the sessions are not active.

is there a way to limit this background traffic as it is not just sending the alive data but also other diagnostics info
