Not sure why a person cannot connect to my TeamViewer?

    Welcome, and thanks for reaching out to our Community!

    This message occurs when the person who starts the remote session is not logged in with a TeamViewer account. For security reasons, to start a remote session, it's now necessary to log in with an account.

    📌Note: The partner who just receives the connection doesn't need an account, just the person who starts it.

  • Thank you- I have an account and I have given them the ID and PW to connect. Still no success

    Thanks for the reply! 😄

    Please make sure they also have a TeamViewer account.

    After they sign in, they will be able to use the ID/Password you provided to start the remote session.
