Dear TeamViewer Team,
I am a retired IT guy in his 60s and my wife and I have one surviving parent, my Mum-in-Law, who is in her mid-80s and lives on her own. Since my Father-in-Law died in 2019 we have been using online communication with my Mum-in-Law to support her remotely as we live some distance away. We Skype, and Facetime on a daily basis and keep in touch using PCs and iPad messaging apps through the day.
This has been an absolute lifeline for her, but occasionally the technology does something unexpected, or there is an error, or something changes and she can get very anxious about things not working properly, so I've been using TeamViewer so that we can go through issues together and resolve problems remotely, and it has been brilliant. She knows that if there's a problem I can get online and fix it while I chat with her, and it's very reassuring.
As I retired person I couldn't afford a commercial license, but the personal use license fits us perfectly, and I just wanted to add my thanks for this amazing tool which has been an absolute boon, especially when we were all locked down because of COVID and couldn't go and see her. It's a superb product and I just wanted to thank you all for making it available to us.
You can be rightly proud of what you do.
Take care,
Mike
