👍️ Thanks. I did receive an explanation from a Maxwell Palmer at teamviewer. He stated:
No cause for concern here
This is actually referencing an old perpetual license that still exists but you are not using
you changed to a subscription a while ago but the perpetual was left sitting due to an error
this e-mail was meant for folks that are still for some reason using that outdated unsupported perpetual license

I have the same question and came here looking for answers.
Our users have also received this exact same message. Has this actually come from TeamViewer or is it a scam? The content of the email is contradictory and makes zero sense! I don't want to raise a support ticket as this doesn't appear to relate specifically to our account.
I received the same email, I just renewed my corp license two weeks ago and this email gave me a bit of a scare, I support a large group of older OS machines and was concerned that this deadline would effect my connectivity, NO THANKS to teamviewer but after a 5 minute search on the teamviewer remote forum/product announcements, i found the below article.
It appears this will effect version 8.
Teamviewer Support, it would of been nice if you would have just referred us to these articles instead of creating unneeded drama. :-(
