I am unable to delete a Device Group I created many months back. It has no devices assigned to it.

I am a TeamViewer non-commercial (i.e., free) user. During the migration to the new user interface (and web-based TeamViewer Management Console), I created a new "Device Group".

I would like to delete the "Device Group" and I do not have any devices assigned to the group. However, neither the TeamViewer Management Console (Web), nor the apps (Windows), all me to delete the group (screenshot attached).

I have a hunch this is due to a glitch that allowed me to create a group while the systems were transitioning and that a licensing "hole" was patched-up, so I no longer have the licensing to manage Device Groups.

Is there anyone at TeamViewer that can help with this request? I've considered using a 14-day trial to resolve this but would prefer not to go that route, if possible.

    Disregard this request.

    After waiting for a reply on this post (the only support channel I could find), I went ahead and started a 14 day free trial and deleted the group from within the TeamViewer Windows client.

    So, to anyone else that may have this issue...it's one way to resolve it. Not ideal but hey, as long as I revert to non-commercial personal use after the trial then all is well.

    This is because since team viewer changed its program and services it has been quite difficult to get any positive assistance. This is why my organization canceled our contract.
