On Sonoma 14.1.2 on my iMac, downloaded Full Client, but can't start anything. How do I proceed
I used to use TeamViewer all the time but didn't charge for it. I'm retired now (81) and want to help family and some friends. I will instruct them to download QuickSummary, and I downloaded Full Client (15.48.4) but can't start it.

I spoke to a salesperson in North Carolina (I believe), explained that I needed to use TeamViewer, never charge for it, but I can't do anything with it. At one point about 2-3 months ago, I could get in, but the connection times out every 8 minutes and I had to wait for 2 minutes. Now, I can't get anything done.

Hi, Malikjohn,
To answer "did your message help?", my answer is "sort of helped". I make it work, but not without a lot of time and experimenting. I used my iMac (at 14.1.2) and my PC (Win 10 Pro, fully updated) sitting right next to it, and got the free version to work.
I'm sure the documentation for a free version is there, but it is me, at 81, not willing to be patient by reading it all, even to the pages that say there is no answer. I ended up with reinstalling the software, and beat the TeamViewer re-approving my free version registering, which took at least 24 hours, but entered the link on the PC rather than await the email message that I sent from my iMac. Using the "invitation" code was the solution to getting to the remote PC. I took some screenshots which I'll use when I get to my friend's computer. That infers that I'm having a problem with my internet services provider (ISP) which changed recently and I'm having some problems there.
It now awaits my contact with my friend's computer and getting through the "handshaking". I used the old interface with TeamViewer that I'm very familiar with, but I'd also like to see what the new version looks like.
Now, my friend is using her daughter to help and something else (personal) is happening, so that the urgency of my helping is paused, probably until early next week.
My suggestion to the "community" is that a brief listing, by the numbers, of what needs to be done by the source (me) and what's to be done by the remote user.
Thanks for your help.
Happy Holidays!!!
