Fast User Switching
Every time I attempt to connect a session it says "The screen cannot capture at the moment. This is probably due to fast user switching or a disconnected/minimized remote desktop session". Any idea how to fix this?

Hello @Kristen_williams99
Thank you for your post, and welcome to the TeamViewer community!
Does this appear at a certain point in the connection? For instance, after signing in to the remote device's OS logon screen?
I have experienced this pop-up in some situations like I mentioned above, but in most cases, the pop-up disappears once the device is logged in, and I can continue with the remote session.
If you are experiencing it on different occasions, or in a way that is preventing access to the remote devices completely, please let us know here!
Thanks in advance for any clarifications you may have!

Hi Josh,
I have the experience as you describe. But the pop-up does not disappear, it just stays on top of the screen while everything is in freeze and I'm not able to do anything. After a while I'm logged off. Tried at least five times now.
I might add I was connected to the same computer within say one hour, via RDP (the one from Microsoft Store, not the default installed one following Windows (11)). Seems it might be valuable info since the error message indicates it might influence.
Finally, this was not an issue until I upgraded to "New interface" and did a migration on both the computers in question here.
I will probably search more in the community, bus appreciate your prompt answer anyway if you have anything I can try out.

Tried again after a couple of hours, same error.
A also tried on another remote computer I have. Same workplace, similar computer (stationary), but Windows 10. The one I cannot connect to is Windows 11 and also a so-called intune computer. The latter adds a log-in layer which in this case is a pin-code.
Hope this helps.

Solution: Switch back to "old interface". I'm happy with that, old interface worked just fine, and I don't see the big advantage with the new for my simple use (connect to remote computers).
I'm not eager to test anything, I've spent a few hours on this issue now, and it is a bit annoying finding the solution described to be the working one, I will not recommend anyone at my workplace to go for "new interface".
