new computer reinstall

I recently purchased a new desktop computer and had to reinstall teamviewer. When I used it for the first time, it would disconnect me after a couple of minutes. I then had to wait a minute or two before I could sign in again. This happened several times in a very short period of time and made it difficult to finish the task at hand.

Is this a new feature? I have been using team viewer for quite some time and never had seen this before.
