Teamviewer app crashes when i try to use my laptop to remote access work computer

Every time i try connect my laptop to my work computer it crashes and closes the app. On my computer in the 'session' window in the bottom left corner it comes up with my laptops name for a second then it disappears so there is communication between the two. My laptop gets as far as the 'connecting to desktop' screen then crashes. I've tried uninstalling, changing to lower windows version, taking off firewalls on laptop, updating all settings etc. I cant think of any other reason why it wont connect.

    Could you please let me know if you have also performed an advanced uninstall of TeamViewer, and on both devices? The following steps are outlined in the second half of the uninstall article to ensure that all remnants of TeamViewer are removed from the device:

    Second, I would suggest attempting the connections on different networks to ensure there are no blocks from your ISP preventing services like ours from operating; if this is the case, they usually have instructions for how to disable such a feature.
