Excel Document Locked

For years I have used TeamViewer (Personal version) on my iPad or iPhone to access an excel document that is held on my PC. When finished I close the document and end the connection. However, recently (version update?) this has been leaving the document "locked to another user" when I try to access it on the PC, requiring me to reboot the PC to free it up.

Anyone encountered this issue and if so found a way to resolve it?

Thanks for your first post and welcome to our Community!

Could you test closing the document directly to the device without using TeamViewer?

TeamViewer remote sessions just reproduce the screen, mouse, and keyboard. They would not interfere with the device or file user configuration.
