new laptop

Greetings, I have been using the free version of TV on another laptop to assist my elderly mother with issues. Got a new laptop and downloaded the Windows "Teamviewer Host" app and logged in under previous account but it looks totally different and I don't see a way to put in my Mom's PW to access her PC. Did I get the wrong download or do something wrong?

If you see TeamViewer as shown below, it means that you are using the new TeamViewer interface called TeamViewer Remote -so please be assured.

On the TeamViewer Remote, the classic connection method using TeamViewer ID and password is still available. To locate the entry section of TeamViewer ID and password on your TeamViewer full client, please navigate to Remote Support (1) and click Connect here (2):

Hint: instead of this classic connection method, unattended access is also available with TeamViewer Host. If you are interested in this connection method, you can find more information on the required settings here: Provide unattended remote support

Thanks for responding Akiho, unfortunately, I'm never getting to that screen on the new computer, just on the old one which still logs on. I dont' know if a screen snip will show on your end but I'm getting to the Connect screen with no input of my Mom's password to put in to log into her pc.

Thank you for getting back to me.

There is a misunderstanding; excuse me for my lack of understanding of your case.

If you are using the new laptop on your side and initiate an outgoing connection from the new laptop, please install TeamViewer Full Client on your new device. So that you can access the entry section of TeamViewer ID and password.

Hope the TeamViewer Full Client leads you to a smooth connection.
