    Your account won´t be locked, however we suggest you reset your password by following these steps:

    1. Go to https://web.teamviewer.com/.
    2. Enter your e-mail address and click Continue.
    3. Click on Forgot your password?.
    4. Enter your e-mail in the dedicated field, confirm the Captcha, and click Send.
    5. Access your inbox, open the e-mail called Password reset request, and click on Reset Password.
    6. You will be redirected to set up your new password. Enter your new password in the dedicated fields and click Save.

    How many times can I enter my password incorrectly before my account gets locked?

    I am asking for security confirmation when installing teamviewer.

    You can use your incorrect password 9 times before you r account gets blocked.

    So, the suggestion is to reset your password following the steps provided it in our first response.
