Does International remote access work?

I own a home in NJ which has consistent internet to support the security system. I am away on travel several months of the year. I carry a Windows 11 laptop with me when I go.

I have some "location based" apps I'd like to access while I'm away.

Would the free version TeamViewer support my goal? Does TeamViewer wake a laptop from sleep or hibernation?
