Never received activation email

I use the free version of TeamViewer to help my mother. Since the big upgrade, TeamViewer wants her to login but she gets the message she needs to click the link in an email to activate her account. She has never received the email. She has checked her spam folder and twice requested a new email be sent and one has never been sent.
It’s very frustrating because I can’t use this amazing tool to help her because she can’t get in. I live in another state and this is crucial to helping her. Please advise.
