Black screen when connecting to my Mac

I'm running OS Ventura on both devices, an iMac and Macbook Pro. When I connect remotely to my iMac, the connection is made, I can use the File Transfer, but my screen is black. Even when testing the connection at home, I have the same issue. Nothing I've tried to change seems to make any difference. Help please? Thanks

    Ps: I know there's a feature to turn the screen black "on the remote machine", but it's happening on the machine I'm using to connect, NOT the connect-ee.

    One last correction: I'm running Sonoma on both Macs, not Ventura as stated above.

    I have the same problem.

    It just started about 1-2 weeks ago.

    Checked updates and all permission settings, issue persists.

    This issue occurs when adding files from the Desktop and Documents folders to iCloud Drive

    Remove this configuration and perform a new access test.
