your partner dssktop is no longer accessible

This is the first time it happened to me I logged via remote to my brother's PC and downloaded software and when I clicked the installer to start installing it the screen went black with a message saying: "Your partner desktop is no longer accessible wait till your partner has granted these permissions" I don't understand why this happens since my brother has already granted me all permissions to go to his desktop and do whatever he needs me to do I ned help to find out why this happens and to remedy it. Until now I have never encountered this kind of issue I have installed software on my brother's PC without any problems or interruptions. Thanks for your help
