What is blocking the Teamviewer installation on my friend's computer??

Hello - I'm trying to get Teamviewer install remotely on my friend's computer. I've been trying to walk her thru the steps over the phone. I sent her an invite and told her to click on the link to install the Quick Support software but nothing happens when she clicks on it. I'm wondering if her anti-virus program is blocking the installation. ??? I will have to walk her thru disabling the anti-virus program and see if that fixes the problem.
Also I lead her to the Teamviewer website with the list of exe files to download and when she clicked on them they don't run. Am I missing something or is she not following directions?? LOL!
In the meantime, can anyone think of any other reason that the software link I emailed her won't run??? Thanks!!
