Add ID to Blacklist via commands

Options

Hello,

Is there a way to add a specific Teamviewer ID via command prompt commands? Is there another way without needing the user to actually do it manually?

Thank you.

    Hello @Silviu_Lupu_Acrelec,

Thank you for posting in our Community for the first time!

Adding an ID to the blocklist via commands is not possible. However, we have an option for you, which is using a designated policy called the Block and Allow list.

To create the policy, follow the steps below:

    • Sign in with your account in the TeamViewer Remote app
    • Go to Admin settings
    • Click on Policies under Device Management menu
    • Click on Create new policy
    • Once inside this field select a name, TeamViewer and click on +Add
    • Select the policy Block and allow list and click Add
    • Select between Allow list or Block list and click +Add contact to block list
    • At this point select the option Manually add a contact to the block list and write the ID in the box and click Add, as in the image below:

    • Finally Save (upper right corner)

Your policy is ready to be setup in your devices.

We hope this information suit your requirements and in case of need more details please let us know we will be pleased to extend our assistance.

    Have a nice day.

    Hello,

Thank you for the answer. Unfortunatelly, this is not of use to us, as our specific system works unattended, and has to be able to do the adding/removal from blockist by itself, without human interaction.

If there is no suchu possibility, I will mark the previous comment as answer.

    Hello @Silviu_Lupu_Acrelec,

    Thank you for your answer.

The steps above must be done with human intervention on the admin side.

If you have a license, the deployment of the policy can be done following our Mass deployment procedure that helps you to deploy the TeamViewer solution within your IT infrastructure by downloading the .msi installer.

Hoping that this information will help.

If not, please provide us with more details, or again, if you have a license, you could contact our ☎️ customer support team for more direct assistance.

    Best,
