I have created 2 device groups while migrating a device then I wanted delete one of them but couldn't find any button to delete it

So is there any way to delete one of these 2 folders ?

Or can I even rename them if I can't remove one of them ?

you can delete the group by right clicking it and using the edit button only after you have removed all devices from it please check my screen pic ( by mistake i covered the edit box in line with the test group i made , but the edit is under the black small bar )

your then see the box to delete the group link this

I hope this helps you with you problem, you can also rename the group , but the boxes still need to be clear of all devices

I've used TeamViewer since 8.5 Beta, never had problems until version 15 onwards,

if my idea helps you out, please up vote it, I'm playing collect the badges for fun lol

thank you for replying but I know how to delete the normal groups, my question was how to delete a device group, the one just above the normal groups, I wish I was clear with my question this time and sorry if it caused u any confusion

  • can't "right click" on the groups in the "new interface" thus far this change has been horrible. Not sure how anyone else is even dealing with some of the issues I have encountered.

    1) Machines unassigned from my account after migration

    2) Machines saying "managed by 9 people" when we only have 4 users

3)Full access mysteriously taken away after migration

4)Generally unintuitive and tilted toward non-computer users as evidenced by "wizards" being needed to accomplish previously simple tasks.

Essentially I have endured the pain and returned everything to working status as it was before. The only thing left is to delete the duplicated groups.
