Unable to add managed device for remote access

Hello! I am trying to add my device to the teamviewer account for unattended access. However, when I go to add the device through managed devices the option to set up remote access is greyed out. Also, when I go to account assignment that button is greyed out too and says "you can only assign this device to your account if you have administrative rights and Teamviewer is installed" but I am running the app as administrator on my PC anyway. Can anyone help me as to how I add the device? I need both unattended access and the ability for outgoing connections so I cant just install host.
