issue with remote access to our VMs

Hi, a vendor of ours uses TeamViewer to remotely access our servers unattended. The servers they are trying to access are virtual servers, and when they try to connect, it doesn’t work and shows as offline. I’d then log into the VM, and it would then show as online and are able to access it. As soon as I log out, it shows as offline again to them. Do you know of any reason why this happens? Is there a specific setting or 2 that need to be adjusted?

    Hi @mhodge1 ,

Thanks for your question and welcome to our Community!

TeamViewer only reproduces the existing mouse, keyboard, and monitor - TeamViewer doesn't create a virtualization of the device. If the device doesn't have a monitor, you may try using TeamViewer virtual monitor setting.

If the device OS is a Windows server, we advise remote connecting using the Server ID instead of the user ID. For more details check the article: Use TeamViewer Remote on Windows servers.
