remote screen being powered off causes remote PC to be unavailable
For some reason, it seems that recently when my home HP desktop's screen is powered off (standard windows 11 setting, after 15 mins) that I can't access this from my laptop.
Has something changed? Very frustrating..
(I tested whilst at home, one shake of the desktop mouse and it re-appears on the list of "My Computers" online…)

It sounds like your desktop might be entering a sleep or low-power mode, which could be causing it to be temporarily inaccessible from your laptop. To troubleshoot, you could try adjusting the power settings on your HP desktop to ensure that it stays awake and accessible over the network when the screen turns off. Check both the Windows power settings and any specific HP power management settings that might be affecting this behavior. Additionally, make sure that your network connection is stable and that both devices are connected to the same network. If the issue persists, there may be deeper network configuration or hardware issues to investigate.

Hi, not it is not in sleep mode, it's configured to never sleep.
The desktop is only about 9 months old and only in the last 2 months has it had this behaviour of not working with Teamviewer once the screen is powered down, and I can't see any windows settings that could/would influence this (other than not powering off screen, and I can't leave it on all the time as it's 1) bad for the screen and 2) I live in small apartment.
