www.teamviewer.com refused to connect

Helping a 97 year old senior friend by trying to download and install TeamViewer.

Friend had TV installed but it suddenly stopped connecting. Uninstalled TV and attempted to install current version. Got "refused…" message. Turning off firewall did not change anything - still getting "refused…" message.

    Could you please share a screenshot of the error message you received? Also, kindly tell us which operating system and TeamViewer modules are used on both remote and local devices.

    Thank you for the prompt response.

    However, problem went away when I searched "TeamViewer" and found that downloaded install files were still there. Opened one of the install files and had trouble free default installation. My 97-year old senior had several suspicious programs on his machine and it may be that is what stopped everything from working.

    PS - FYInfo, OS was Win 10 - properly updated.

    Problem was NOT connection to remote computer, but "ERR - Refused Connection" from TemViewer.com server attempting to download install file.
