Installation Guide for Blind User
I am tryin g to help a blind friend install Team Viewer on his Mac to allow me to help him configure some music collaboration software. I am not all that experienced using the software, but am pretty certain my end is set up properly and I was able to send him a link to give me remote access. Unfortunately, Safari (on his machine) is reporting an "invalid URL" despite him having downloaded the client and (I think) granted to the appropriate permissions. Is there a single document that I can send him (he uses Voice Over) that will help him configure things properly to allow me access?
Thanks in advance for thoughts/ideas/suggestions.

forget using the emai link,
I take it he has Teamviewer installed already, if so this will be easier
if he dose's just get him to use, his screen read to give you the 9 or 10 digit remote id code for his mac
and then ask for his password
than you should have access to his mac (unless it has a security pop up, if so just get them to ok to give full access to you),
then once your logged in ask him if its ok to set up unattended Access for yourself
so you can log in anytime you wish too
If by chance he hasn't installed teamveiwer yet , send him the install file via a normal email or dropbox / iCloud etc and then follow the above post
i hope this works

I've used TeamViewer since 8.5 Beta, never had problems until version 15 onwards,
if my idea helps you out, please up vote it, I'm playing collect the badges for fun lol

edit: my answers i posted bugged out but @.Carol.fg. recovered one of them below
i hope the idea to try and help below but this bit needs to be added
also, if they don't have the newest Mac TV installed download it of the official site and send it via iCloud/Dropbox to him,and get him to do a clean default reinstall, id get him to pick the classic ui at this point over the new one only due to the huge amount of non-usefully text , close the new ui down with the slide bar to classic reboot and then just pick remote control then get the new id and password over the phone , then remote in to set up unattended Access as i said below
it's the easiest way,
but please give more info if you still have problems let me know

Ebec…..Thanks so much for the suggestion. Worked like a charm and I was able to get my friend up and running in a matter of minutes.
Many Thanks.
