Can I connect to PC at a higher resolution than the host PC?

TeamViewer Version 15.54.6

I see an option for adding virtual monitors, not sure it would help but it says you must connect using Easy Access. I don't see the option to add Easy Access in the TeamViewer client installed on my end.

The laptops Windows display settings max out at 1920x1080. Anyway to get a higher display resolution when starting TeamViewer?

    Hello @Tanquen,

Thank you for your contact and welcome to our Community!

Reading your post, we have two different topics to cover, so we would suggest going one by one

    1. To provide Easy Access to your remote virtual monitors please follow the instructions of the following link because you have to use our Host module instead of the full client that you installed: https://www.teamviewer.com/en-us/global/support/knowledge-base/teamviewer-remote/remote-control/provide-unattended-remote-support/
    2. To adapt the resolution of the remote screen please enter in the following link, go to the View section and you will find details on how to proceed https://www.teamviewer.com/en-us/global/support/knowledge-base/teamviewer-remote/remote-control/remote-session-toolbar/#:~:text=Update%20TeamViewer.-,View,-The%C2%A0View

We hope this information will be useful and If you have any questions or need more information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    All the best,

    Valeria

    Hello @Tanquen,

First of all, please excuse the confusion with the note/warning sent before. Please ignore it.

Now let's go to your request:

We brought your case to our colleagues of the second level of assistance, and we were informed that the display resolution of the remote depend on the computer graphic card.

We regret we cannot give you the solution you expected but it does not depend on TeamViewer.

    All the best,

    Valeria

Ok, seems really odd not to offer a way in software. **Third Party Product** can do different screen sizes. ???

If you google for this ↓ there is a software driver to fake displays in Windows and let you use different screen sizes in TeamViewer.

"amyuni usb mobile monitor Activating a Secondary Display on Windows 10 when no Monitor is Connected"

Also, not used it but some have used HDMI plugs that simulate displays with higher resolutions.
