Can't enable policy for a computer

Hi there,
As I learned despite being company admin I can not apply policies for groups that I don't own.
The owner who originally created some groups is not even with us anymore. No issue, I re-created a group for testing and moved 2 hosts in there.
I enabled the policy "AutoUpdate" on the group. For 1 PC I also enabled it manually in the list. Worked.
On the other it did not. Any idea why?
