How can I activate my Teamviewer Remote Access Licence?
Hello there,
I've recently purchased a Teamviewer Remote Access Licence. However, when I tried to activate it for my account through the link in the activation email from Teamviewer it failed and I got the following error message:
It's in german and it basically sais that I can't activate the licence for my account because a different licence is already assigned (I'm assuming free tier). Unfortunately, I can't contact support because it sais that I only have a free tier. How can I fix this?

I am sorry that you are having an issue with license activation. May I ask by any chance that you remember if you have ever activated the license with any other email? If not, please call the support phone number and share the issue and the license information, the support rep will take a closer look into the case and then help with the activation! Congratulations on purchasing your Remote Access License! We are happy you chose TeamViewer for your Remote Access needs.
One of the most popular causes for this error when trying to activate a single user license such as the Remote Access License, is that the license may already be activated to your user account.
To check this, you will want to download the TeamViewer desktop application, if you haven’t already, then open the application.
In the top right corner of the application you will either see the words “Sign in” or you will see the profile icon (An outline of a person in a circle). If you see the words “Sign in”, you will want to sign in with your user account information. Once signed in, you will then want to select the profile icon, and under your display name it will say any of the following, Free, Remote Access, or Commercial.
If it says free, then the license is not activated with the user account you signed into. At this point, I would suggest contacting our Support Team by phone so that we may assist you with the activation of the license. You can find your local regions support team number by clicking the link below and scrolling down the page some.
If after selecting the profile icon, you see Remote Access or Commercial, then your license is already activated and you are good to go. This next link below will take you to our knowledge base article that covers the instructions for how to setup the Remote Access License specifically. You can skip step one and start at step two as the activation process would already be done.
