No Keyboard Response in Some Android Apps When Controlled From PC

I just got a new Motorola XT2215 phone and for the first time I am using the Universal Addon for Quick Support to remote control the phone from my PC.

Overall, this appears to work about as well as Quick Support worked on my old LG V40 with an LG-specific addon.

But in some apps - so far only Android Terminal Emulators - typing from my PC's keyboard is simply not recognized. I have tried several of these apps, tried uninstall/re-install of them as well as the TV stuff. No change.

I presume the difference is the Universal Addon since I have long done the same on other phones (LG, Samsung) that had maker-specific addons. It even works on an old Android TV box that has the old AOSP addon (which I tested on the Moto without luck).

Any suggestions? This is pretty important to me.

    This must be an issue with the use of the accessibility service in the Universal Plugin. I say this because I just tried a **Third Party Product** server app that also works via the accessibility service and I get the exact same results.
